It's no surprise that twins are often found in the presence of one another. For years, there has been a considerable amount of research and speculation on the connection between twins, namely in reference to telepathic ability. While the video below can hardly be deemed demonstrative of telepathic ability between twins, it does illustrate the special bond siblings share whether identical or not.
Mother Sonja Atkins was taking her twin boys outside when she stopped to wait for them to descend the stairs. Twins Michael Jr. and JonMichael eased themselves down the stairs hand-in-hand before they reached the very last step. Michael Jr. decided to leap to the ground on his own instead of doing it while holding hands with his brother. In a matter of seconds JonMichael started crying because he wanted to descend the final step with his twin. After some encouragement from his mother, Michael Jr. rejoined his brother on the stairs, grabbed his hand, and together they hopped down to the ground.
In all reality, the footage depicts a fairly typical scenario in terms of child-to-child interaction, but the emotional moment when the twins rejoin is pulling on the heartstrings of thousands. This video was originally uploaded to Facebook on June 22nd by entertainment site

Atkins commented on the
original video explaining that her twins are nicknamed Juicy and Professor, and that they each have their own distinct personalities. According to Akins' Facebook page, she and the boys live in Birmingham, AL. Atkins also explains in her comment that she tries to teach the boys to love, care for, and keep one another accountable. It is likely that Atkins' stance on rearing the twins is precisely why Michael Jr. "Juicy" was moved by his brother's upset and returned to help him.
