Pictures of Professor Sydney Engelberg, 45, and a baby went viral recently on the Internet. Professor Engelberg a veteran lecturer at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. When a student's baby began crying in class, he had a response you probably wouldn't expect.

The mom was about to leave the classroom with the crying baby. The professor immediately scooped the baby up in his arms to soothe it and continued with his lecture as if nothing happened.

Students in the class immediately took pictures of the incident.

Apparently, this professor is known to allow his students to bring their kids to class (and even breastfeed if necessary). Why? He tells Yahoo Parenting, "The reason is that education for me is not simply conveying content, but teaching values. How better than by role modeling?"

Some parents may be embarrassed if their kids cried in public, but this professor calls it out and makes it a norm. It's amazing what you can learn from just a single photo. Bravo professor!
