Brandi Hodges knew she had something special on her hands the moment her baby, Eisleigh, was introduced to her pit bull puppy, Clyde. That fact became quite apparent to this North Carolina mom when Clyde climbed into Eisleigh's car seat on his very first ride home. “Clyde was connected to Eisleigh as soon as we picked him up,” explained Hodges to her local Fox News station. Adding that for the two little ones, "it was love at first sight." Fox News decided to catch up with Hodges after she posted this video to her YouTube channel on Jul 23, 2014.
To date, over 6 million people have watched this 16-second clip of Clyde climbing into Eisleigh's baby bouncer and nestling close. So when asked about why she and her husband (fiancé at the time) decided to get Clyde so soon after giving birth to Eisleigh, Hodges told Fox News that, "We’ve always said we would get a puppy when we have a baby so they can grow up together and have a special bond." A bond between baby and pit bull that will now live on forever thanks to Hodge's diligent, yet candid photography.

It's been over a year since Clyde and Eisleigh have entered into each other's lives, and fittingly, Hodges has crafted another special video giving viewers an inside look at how their bond has molded over time.
Her photographic efforts over the past 12 months have manifested into a touching montage that depicts just how inseparable these two have been since day one.

The video, which is titled "Eisleigh and Clyde: Our First Year Together," was posted on June 22, 2015, and gives viewers a visual flip-book of memories that detail how these two have maintained closeness as they've aged together.
From when Eishleigh was a newborn, resting on a blanket with Clyde right by her side, to the pair cooling off as they played in a toy pool, it seemed that Hodges' hopes of having a strong baby-puppy bond has proved to be a sweet success. As She mentions in the Fox News interview, however, "We never knew it would be as sweet as this.”
