An anonymous man dropped off a few bags of clothes as a donation to St. Gemma’s Hospice Charity in Leeds, England. Amongst the items that he donated was this beautiful 1950's wedding dress, but there was something extra special about this particular dress.
Inside the wedding dress, there was a special surprise note.
Attached to the gown was a simple note, but this note has gone viral and tugged at the heartstring of countless hopeless romantics.
If you can't quite read that handwriting, the notes says, "I wish any lady who takes this dress to have a life with her loved one. 56 Years like I did. Happy years. I was a lucky man to marry a lady like mine."
Now the workers at St. Gemma's Hospice Charity are trying to locate the sweet man who has melted the hearts of thousands. A volunteer donned the dress, and pictures were posted to St. Gemma's Hospice Charity Shops's Facebook page in hopes that someone might recognize it.
We love seeing these types of gestures in the world. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
