Mail carriers don't have it easy. We've all heard their classic creed: "neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." They work long days full of walking to get people their mail, so this small group of people in The Village, Oklahoma figured they'd do something special for them.
A news story has revealed that a group of citizens in The Village have began leaving out coolers full of cold water for mail carriers. Tracey Beaves is one of these citizens, and started leaving the coolers out in July for the mail carriers working under the hot summer sun. She feels like "all we think about is getting the mail, but we don't think about what they're going through."
