Crystal Enns at the time was like any 14-year-old girl. She was going to school in Wylie, Texas, and was living her life to the fullest. Crystal did not have any concerns about her health or her life, but everything changed in an instant. One day she started suffering a serious nosebleed, so her parents took her in to the hospital.

When she arrived, they were trying their best to figure out what the cause of the nosebleed was. After running some tests, they discovered that Crystal actually was suffering from kidney disease, and needed a transplant. They screened her mom and dad as possible donors, but they noticed strange spots on their kidneys. They had kidney cancer, and it would have gone totally under the radar if not for this random nosebleed.
