We all know the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder;" however, in the case of this young woman, her beauty is scientific fact. Then an 18-year-old student, Florence Colgate won a competition sponsored by Lorraine Cosmetics in 2012. The competition, which sought out the most naturally beautiful woman, utilized a proportional beauty theory to judge its contestants.

According to this theory, an attractive woman's face should have a space between pupils that is just under half the width of her face from one ear to the other. Ms. Colgate's ratio is 44 percent. In addition to that, the "relative distance between eyes and mouth should be just over a third of the measurement from hairline to chin," according to a Daily Mail article.

By those standards, the young Colgate could theoretically be considered the United Kingdom's most beautiful woman. What do you think though? Let us know in the comments down below.
