Every once in a while a story comes along that blows the lid off of what we think is humanly possible. Nicole Mayhew had no reason to come home on this fateful day, yet something came over her and she suddenly felt the urge to check on her husband. It was nothing more than a strong intuition that convinced her to drive all the way across town toward their home, but as it turns out, her intuition most likely saved her husband's life.
Scott Mayhew was working underneath his car when he reached for a wrench and the car slipped off its jack. The collapsed vehicle crushed 6 of his ribs and caused internal bleeding, but as he pleaded for help, he quickly realized that improving his situation was out of his control. He knew that if he could just let his wife know he was in danger, she would be there in an instant. The predicament he faced, however, was that his only way to reach her was through praying and hoping. Miraculously, Nicole answered his prayers and approached the house to the sound of Scott's pleas. One frantic 911 call later, his life was saved.
Call it a sixth sense, intuition, or divine intervention, but Nicole Mayhew's actions saved the life of the man she loves, and it's now clear that his time on earth was not ready to run out.
